The Gujarat Assembly has recently become the 10th state assembly to adopt National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA).

About the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA):
- It was launched as a Mission Mode Projects (MMPs) under the “Digital India Programme” of the Union Government, which aims to make the functioning of all the State Legislatures paperless by transforming them into ‘Digital House’.
- NeVA helps the Chair of the House to conduct the proceedings smoothly & members of the house can carry out their duties efficiently in a paperless manner.
- It can store entire information of the house such as member details, rules of procedure, list of business, notices, bulletins, bills, starred/unstarred questions and answers, papers laid, committee reports etc.
- Launched in 2020, all its information is stored on NIC’s (National Informatics Centre) Cloud- MeghRaj.
