The first UrbanShift Forum (Asia) was recently inaugurated in India.
About UrbanShift Asia Forum:
- It was a meeting of India, China, Indonesia and other countries with international organizations and the private sector to exchange knowledge on regional urban challenges and solutions.
- It is aimed at bringing innovative ways of financing climate projects and presenting ideas to a curated audience of investors.
Objectives:
- To provide training and capacity-building to regional cities on various facets of integrated and sustainable urban development.
- To transform Asian cities into ‘cities of opportunity’.
