China recently launched its Chang’e-6 mission to collect samples of soil and rock from the far side of the Moon, which remains unseen from Earth.
About the Chang’e-6:
- This mission is a 53-day robotic lunar exploration and marks China’s second sample return mission.
- It aims to achieve a soft landing at the South Pole of the Moon, specifically in the Aitken Basin.
- The mission includes the Pakistan-developed ICUBE-Q CubeSat orbiter.
