Joint Doctrine for Cyberspace Operations

Recently, the Chief of Defence Staff unveiled India’s first Joint Doctrine for Cyberspace Operations, focusing on the military aspects of cyberspace operations.

Significance of the Joint Doctrine:

• The doctrine underscores the importance of integrating cyberspace operations into national security strategies, recognizing cyberspace as a critical domain in modern warfare, alongside land, sea, and air.
• It provides conceptual guidance for commanders, armed forces staff, and practitioners to plan and execute cyberspace operations effectively.
