- Open Radio Access Network (ORAN) base stations are developed to provide high-speed and reliable connectivity in remote areas.
- It aims to create efficient wireless communications technology for 5G and 5G-Advanced networks.
- It disaggregates network infrastructure components, reducing cost and complexity.
- It comprises antennae, which transmits and receives signals to and from our smartphones or other compatible devices.
- It uses radio waves.
- It enables operators to mix and match components from different vendors.
- Also, it is cost-effective, secure, and energy efficient.
