AYUSHMAN BHAV CAMPAIGN

President of India virtually launched the Ayushman Bhav campaign as well as the Ayushman Bhava portal.

 About Ayushman Bhav campaign:

  • Ayushman Bhav campaign is envisaged to saturate all health care services in every village/ town in line to ensure reach to the last mile and enable access to health care services to everyone in the society.
  • It involves a set of interventions that include Ayushman – Apke Dwar 3.0Ayushman Sabhas, Ayushman Melas– at Health and Wellness level and Medical Camps by Medical Colleges at CHCs.
  • The campaign will ensure Gram/ Nagar Panchayat or Urban Ward attain the status of ‘Ayushman Panchayat’ or ‘Ayushman Urban Ward’ in a saturation mode.

Ayushman – Apke Dwar 3.0:

  • It will ensure utilization of E-card and availing the health insuranceservices for the eligible beneficiary with three key objectives:
    • Improving awareness
    • Increasing e-card penetration
    • Establishing continuum of care, leading to increased utilization under the scheme

Ayushman Mela:

  • ‘One-stop’ platforms to address a comprehensive range of health issues.
  • It is an effective strategy to reach the masses and augment the utilization of healthcare services.

Ayushman Sabha:

  • Distribution of Ayushman cards to eligible beneficiaries, displaying lists of beneficiaries of PM-JAY, showcasing empaneled hospitals in the area, raising awareness about NCDs, SCD, Ayushman cards, & ABHA IDs & facilitating the creation of ABHA IDs.
    • Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) is a unique health ID that uses a 14-digit identification number and can be generated using an Aadhaar card or mobile number.
    • ABHA allows users to share their health records digitally with hospitals, clinics, insurance providers and others.

Ayushman Gram Panchayat/Urban Ward:

Awarded to a village/ward with 100% coverage of Ayushman cardABHA ID, screening for NCDs, presumptive TB examination, screening for sickle cell disease and distribution of sickle cell disease cards to the screened individuals
