- Economic: China has been Russia’s largest trading partner for 13 years, while Russia became China’s fourth-largest trading partner in 2023.
- Strategic: China is Russia’s top supplier of dual-use items, which have both civilian and military applications.
- Cooperation in International Organizations: They cooperate within BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the Belt and Road Initiative.
