The Indian Special Forces are currently engaged in joint exercises, namely Exercise CYCLONE with Kyrgyzstan and Exercise KHANJAR with Egypt.
About Exercise KHANJAR:
- Exercise KHANJAR is a Joint Special Forces Exercise between India and Kyrgyzstan.
- The 11th edition of this exercise was held at the Special Forces Training School, Bakloh, Himachal Pradesh.
- Participation:
- Indian Army contingent: 20 personnel from The Parachute Regiment (Special Forces).
- Kyrgyzstan contingent: 20 personnel from Scorpion Brigade.
About Exercise CYCLONE:
- Exercise CYCLONE is a Joint Special Forces Exercise between India and Egypt.
- The 2nd edition of this exercise is held at Anshas, Egypt.
- The first edition was conducted in India.
- Participation:
- Indian Army contingent: 25 personnel from The Parachute Regiment (Special Forces).
- Egyptian contingent:Â 25 personnel from Egyptian Commando Squadron and Airborne Platoon.
