About Exercise KHANJAR:

  • Exercise KHANJAR is a Joint Special Forces Exercise between India and Kyrgyzstan.
  • The 11th edition of this exercise was held at the Special Forces Training School, Bakloh, Himachal Pradesh.
  • Participation:
    • Indian Army contingent: 20 personnel from The Parachute Regiment (Special Forces).
    • Kyrgyzstan contingent: 20 personnel from Scorpion Brigade.

About Exercise CYCLONE:

  • Exercise CYCLONE is a Joint Special Forces Exercise between India and Egypt.
  • The 2nd edition of this exercise is held at Anshas, Egypt.
    • The first edition was conducted in India.
  • Participation:
    • Indian Army contingent: 25 personnel from The Parachute Regiment (Special Forces).
    • Egyptian contingent: 25 personnel from Egyptian Commando Squadron and Airborne Platoon.
