India and Ghana have agreed to operationalise the Unified Payment Interface (UPI) with Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems.
Location of Ghana:
- It is a West African country with a coastline on the Gulf of Guinea.
- It shares borders with Burkina Faso to the north, Togo to the east, and Côte d’Ivoire to the west.
- It is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean to the south.
- It is dissected by the largest artificial lake on the planet (Lake Volta).
- Its highest point is Mount Afadjato which rises 880 m.
- The lowest point is the Gulf of Guinea at 0 m. In the north, the Oti, Black Volta and White Volta rivers drain into Lake Volta.
- Greenwich Meridian passes through Ghana.
