  • It was declared as a Wildlife Sanctuary in 1978.
  • It is bounded by the Moran river in north, by Bonga Nalla in the east, and by Rihand River in the west.
  • Flora: Sal and bamboo forests
  • Fauna: Asian elephants, Bengal tigers, Indian leopards, bears, Sambar deer, wild boars, etc.
