About KSCP:
- The program is designed to transform rural India by empowering rural women, known as Krishi Sakhis, through training and certification as Para-extension Workers.
- It aligns with the goals of the “Lakhpati Didi” Program and is an initiative under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare and the Ministry of Rural Development.
- The training covers a range of topics, including agro-ecological practices, organizing farmer field schools, managing seed banks, understanding soil health, implementing integrated farming systems, basics of livestock management, and the preparation of bio inputs.
