NATO’s DIANA (Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic) program has recently expanded its reach by establishing an accelerator and test centres in Finland, aiming to foster technology, innovation, and business development for both civil and defence purposes.
About the NATO’s DIANA Initiative:
- It was launched in 2022 by NATO, to boost cooperation on emerging technologies and foster a far-reaching innovation network.
- It focuses on supporting startups and other companies in the high-tech sector that are working on dual-use technologies i.e., for both civil and defence purposes.
- It provides companies resources, networks and guidance for the development in emerging technologies.
- All NATO nations (32 member countries) are also the members of DIANA.
