London meetings analyzed the carbon offsets market and Science Based Targets initiative’s (SBTi) impact.

About SBTi:

• The SBTi is a corporate climate action organization that enables companies and financial institutions worldwide to play their part in combating the climate crisis.
• It develops standards, tools, and guidance for companies to set greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets in line with keeping global heating below catastrophic levels and reaching net-zero by 2050 at the latest.
• It is a collaboration between the CDP (it was the Carbon Disclosure Project), the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI), the We Mean Business Coalition, and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
