About Venus:
- Venus is the 2nd planet from the Sun and nearest to the earth, and it is the 3rd brightest object in the sky after the Sun and Moon.
- It has no satellite of its own.
- Venus’s atmosphere consists mainly of carbon dioxide, with clouds composed of sulfuric acid.
- Unlike other planets in the solar system, Venus and Uranus rotate from east to west.
- Venus is one of the terrestrial planets (inner planets), along with Mercury, Earth, and Mars.
