About Digital Health Incentive Scheme (DHIS):

  • Launched on January 1, 2023, as a key initiative under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), managed by the National Health Authority (NHA).
  • Targets building a strong digital health ecosystem to improve care quality by increasing the use of digital health practices.
  • Open to participants including hospitals, diagnostic labs, digital solution providers, and other healthcare providers.
  • Offers financial incentives for linking health records to Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) numbers, with potential earnings up to Rs. 4 crores.
  • Qualifying activities for incentives: teleconsultations, lab reports, and prescriptions, all connected to ABHA.
  • Registration for facilities and digital solution providers is available through the Health Facility Registry (HFR) and ABDM Sandbox.
