About the Grey – zone Warfare:
- It is the exploitation of operational space between peace and war.
- It involves coercive actions that remain below a threshold that could trigger a conventional military response.
- Examples: Cyberattacks, economic coercion, disinformation campaigns, election meddling, and the weaponisation of migrants.
About the Raisina Dialogue:
- India’s premier conference on geopolitics and geoeconomics, the Raisina Dialogue aims to address global challenges.
- It annually brings together leaders in politics, business, media, and civil society in New Delhi to discuss world issues and explore cooperation opportunities.
- It is hosted by the Observer Research Foundation and India’s Ministry of External Affairs.
- The 2024 edition’s theme is “Chaturanga: Conflict, Contest, Cooperate, Create”.
