Location of Lebanon:
- Lebanon is located in West Asia, bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the west, to the south of Lebanon is Israel, while Syria lies to its east and north.
- Lebanon shares maritime borders with Cyprus.
- The country features the Al-Biqā valley, situated between the Lebanon Mountains to the west and the Anti-Lebanon Mountains to the east.
- This valley is part of the larger East African Rift System.
- Qurnat al-Sawdā is the highest peak in Lebanon.
- The Līānī and Orontes rivers are significant water bodies in the country.
- The Anti-Lebanon mountain range forms a portion of Lebanon’s border with Syria.
