Location of Malawi
- It is a landlocked country in southeastern Africa, bordered by Mozambique to the east and south, Zambia to the west, and Tanzania to the north.
- Geographical Features: The country features four main regions: the Great African Rift Valley, central plateaus, highlands, and isolated mountains. Significant bodies of water include Lake Malawi and Lake Chilwa, while major rivers are the Rukuru, Dwangwa, Lilongwe, and Bua.
- Mountain Ranges and Peaks: Important mountain ranges include Mt. Mulanje, Mt. Nakodzwe, Mt. Dzole, and Mt. Namasile, with the highest peak being Sapitwa Peak on Mt. Mulanje.
