India and Saudi Arabia signed a bilateral agreement under which India has been allocated a quota of 1,75,025 pilgrims for the annual Haj pilgrimage in 2024.
Location of Saudi Arabia:
- Saudi Arabia is located on the Arabian Peninsula in Western Asia.
- It is bordered by:
- Jordan and Iraq to the north
- Kuwait to the northeast
- Qatar, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates to the east
- Oman to the southeast
- Yemen to the south.
- The Red Sea is to the west of Saudi Arabia, and the Persian Gulf is to the northeast.
- The Gulf of Aqaba in the northwest separates Saudi Arabia from Egypt and Israel.
- The capital city of Saudi Arabia is Riyadh.
