Thailand has recently legalized same-sex marriages, making it the third Asian country to adopt such a law.

- Thailand is centrally located on the Indochinese Peninsula in Southeast Asia, sharing land borders with Myanmar (west), Laos (north and east), Cambodia (southeast), and Malaysia (south), as well as maritime borders with Vietnam, Indonesia, and India.
- It is also bordered by the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand to the south.
- Geographical Features: The country features major rivers like the Mekong and Chao Phraya, significant lakes such as Chiang Saen Lake, and prominent mountains including Doi Inthanon and Mount Khieo.
